Pastor, Prophetess Tonya R. Cogburn
Pastor/Prophetess Tonya Cogburn is the Senior Pastor and Founder of True Deliverance Ministries Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama. One of her missions is to lead the lost to Christ and help them to be delivered and set free. She is definitely one of God's anointed and appointed mouth pieces.
She accepted Jesus Christ in September 1999, while attending The Father's House in Luverne, AL, under Bishop Bobby McKenzie and became a new creature. The Lord kept her there through 2006 while He laid the spiritual foundation for the journey ahead. For the next stage of her spiritual growth, God moved her to Shouting, Dancing, and Deliverance COGIC in Troy, AL. Under Bishop Tracy McClure she further developed into her calling as a "Prophetess", one of God's anointed and appointed mouth pieces. Prophetess Cogburn continued to allow God to use her as she preached the evening service through 2010.
It was in 2011, God moved on Prophetess Tonya Cogburn and instilled in her a great commission. She was charged to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to build a Body of Believers that would become more than conquerors. God opened doors to the beginning of True Deliverance Ministries, Inc. in Montgomery, AL. As Pastor Cogburn began this next phase in her spiritual journey to lead the lost towards salvation, deliverance and being set free, God has shown her favor.
True Deliverance Ministries began with just a few members in the Governor's House Hotel & Convention Center in Montgomery, AL. After one year of faithful service, God moved the ministry to The Old Wynnsong Movie Theater in Montgomery, AL where we were able to seat 54. God continued to add to the ministry Kingdom-minded workers and the ministry grew even more. Soon we had to move to a larger room to allow seating for 88. In May of 2017, God reviealed more of his vision for the ministry and moved TDM to a new location. With the vision God has given Pastor Cogburn we know it won't be long until we'll be moving again, to a place of our own.
Pastor Cogburn is the wife of Bishop Floyd Cogburn, mother of two children: Sasha & (Kendarius who has gone home with the Lord), one step-daughter: Janay, and three grandchildren: JaMarcus, DeShaun, & Carter. God has led her to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Master's Degree in Management. Soon she will embark upon attending a Theology School to receive her Doctorates in Theology.
Pastor/Prophetess Tonya R. Cogburn is a mighty woman of God. She has drawn many souls to the Body of Christ and has shown to truly be a Pastor after God's own heart. Through many personal and spiritual trials and battles this Slayer of Giants has proven to be Armed & Dangerous with An Indestructible Praise.
